Word Tac Toe
Word Tac Toe is a basic Tic-Tac-Toe with a twist – a word game that adds a whole new competitive linguistic dimension. Created by Jeff McCutcheon, this game challenges not only your vocabulary, but your ability to construct traps, manage space and play fast defence.
The gameplay is a grid-based battle of wits, but instead of marking the board with basic X's and O's, you use letter tiles to make words. You place a tile with a letter on an empty square on the grid on your turn.
The end goal is to sort the letters such that they make a complete English word with meaning. You can make words in all directions – across, down or on the diagonal.
Word Tac Toe is a brutal game. You must carefully track what your opponent is trying to do to position disruptive tiles, and shatter the sequences of words they’ve so diligently constructed. Have a blast playing Word Tac Toe!
